Every Child Deserves to Feel Safe, Supported, and Believed.
When concerns about child abuse arise, it can be difficult to know where to turn. Child’s Place brings children, caregivers, and professionals together to provide support, connect everyone involved with the information and resources they need, and help ensure no one has to navigate the process alone.
Whether you’re seeking help, looking for answers, supporting someone you care about, or looking for ways to get involved, you’re in the right place
A Coordinated Response. Continued Support.
Child’s Place is a Children’s Advocacy Center serving children and caregivers. When concerns about abuse arise, many professionals have an important role to play. Child’s Place helps bring those professionals together while remaining a consistent source of support for children and caregivers long after other agencies have completed their work. Through child-focused forensic interviews, child and family advocacy, education, and collaboration with community partners, we provide support, resources, and a safe place to begin healing.
Child-Focused Forensic Interviews
Children share what happened in a safe, child-friendly setting with a specially trained forensic interviewer. By creating one place for the conversation, we help reduce the need for children to repeat what happened while providing information professionals need to move forward with the investigation.
Advocacy & Support
Healing doesn’t end after the forensic interview, and neither does our support. Child’s Place provides guidance, resources, and connections to services while remaining a consistent source of support long after other agencies have completed their role.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
Child abuse investigations involve many professionals, each with a different responsibility. Child’s Place helps coordinate communication among law enforcement, child protection, prosecutors, medical providers, mental health professionals, and other partners so the response is coordinated, trauma is reduced, and children and caregivers never have to navigate the process alone.
Education & Resources
Protecting children starts with informed communities. We provide education, prevention, and resources that help adults recognize concerns, respond with confidence, and support children when they need it most.
